We hereby inform you that based on Immigration regulations, all exhibitors or business purposes need to apply for a business visa. Therefore, we advise the exhibitor to apply for a business visa to avoid any problems in immigration or custom. As per 9 January 2024, according to the Decree of the Minister of Law and Human Rights (KEPMENKUMHAM) No. IMI.2-GR.01.01-2.8086 on 29-November-2023, in order to enter Indonesia for Exhibition or Business activities, participants attending exhibitions are required to obtain Business Visa code: C11.The C11 visa is designed to comply with Indonesia’s immigration policies and enables participants to engage in exhibition activities legally. Hence, to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience during the exhibition in Indonesia, we advise that all international exhibitors must apply for the C11 visa.Please note: https://evisa.imigrasi.go.id.

  1. Visa code B211B, 212, and VOA are not allowed for exhibition activities
  2. Business visa code C11 is COMPULSORY for Exhibitor
  3. The granted visa must be sent to the Organizer for the Immigration report needed.
  4. If you are the holder of APEC Card, then you don’t need to apply for the visa as it can be used as the international show requirement

As we mentioned earlier regarding the Visa index, it should be C11.VoA (Visa on Arrival) or B1 Visa is for Visitors holding business meetings and attending exhibitions (VISIT ONLY), not for Exhibitors who are having booths.C11 visa is a must. It applies for ASEAN countries as well because participating in the Exhibition as an exhibitor is categorised as a business activity. If you apply for a non-C11 Visa, GEM Indonesia is not responsible if the people from local immigration inspect your booth since the visa is used for exhibition activities as visitors, not for exhibitors.
